Eagle Running Out? Another Brief Missive From An Elder of Few Words

Farewell to Eagle Run?  Perhaps, perhaps not...
Hey, y'all!

This may be my last week in Eagle Run.  Either way, it's been a great experience!

An Omaha supermarket.  A No-Frills store for a No-Frills town.  Maybe Elder McMurray shops there.  Maybe he's on his way there now, which would explain the short message.  There's no time for small talk when you're a No-Frills shopper!

I'll let you know how things go and give you more details next week!

This is a North Omaha landmark.  Has Elder McMurray ever seen it?  Who knows?

This week, we participated in a musical fireside; I sang an old spiritual called, "Precious Lord, Take Me Home" and a song from an opera called Joseph Smith the Prophet by a LDS composer named Rob Gardner.  The song is called, "My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee."  It was really good.

This is My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee, if not Elder McMurray's rendition:

I hope that everyone's doing well; we're on the warming trend here and things are going good.  Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers and fasts.

Will next week see our favorite Elder on the road again?  Tune in and see!

Love,

Elder McMurray
