Hey,
Mom! Happy 4th to y'all too!
It's
good to hear the news from back home. I'm glad to hear that people are
getting excited about missionary work and that Noah is going on team-ups with
the Elders. How does he like it and how does he like them?
Work
sounds pretty nuts. I hope y'all can survive the summer alive and
relatively sane, especially Dad.
Our
4th was pretty good; we went out to the annual 4th-of-July ward
party at the family home of one of the Counselors in the Bishopric
and then on a team-up with one of the ward members.
We're
teaching a few new investigators. One and his Mother actually attended
Fast & Testimony meeting yesterday and both bore solid testimonies.
We're hopeful for progression there. Yes, the school year has been over
since the end of May; they go back in mid-August. Last week was actually
pretty cool-temperature but it was back to Galveston weather yesterday and
today.
That's
great that Dad has been talking to Nathan & Josh, and Jenny actually
emailed me about Thad going to Lichtenstein. I am doing well.
We made these photos, goofing around with the 4th of July goodies Elder Bywater got from his family... |
I
thank you for your prayerful support and I extend mine in return.
Love,
Elder
McMurray
